Who are we?

In 1996, world-renowned chef Michael Nadell planted a dream and lit a passion in Kofi Addai Mensah, who believed that one day he would be a great pastry chef and a major competitor in the hospitality industry.


As time passed, Nadell prepared Kofi to compete in the Association of Pastry Chef’s Dessert of The Year competition in 1999, where he went on to win Bronze. 


Due to his resilience, he competed again in 2000 and was awarded Silver. Dissatisfied with this result, he honed his craft and returned with the will and skill to persevere, which led him to win the Dessert of the Year in 2001.


In 2009, Kofi achieved a magnificent feat when he was awarded the ultimate accolade among pastry chefs in the UK, the prestigious MCA (Master of Culinary Arts).
